1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Grey Matter Consulting website (www.greymc.co.za) or any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

Grey Matter Consulting provides digital marketing services including website design and development, search engine optimisation (SEO), social media management, and paid advertising management. Specific terms, deliverables, timelines and pricing for client engagements are governed by individual service agreements signed between GreyMC and the client.

3. Free website audit

Our free website audit tool provides an automated analysis of publicly accessible website information using third-party APIs (including Google PageSpeed Insights). Audit results are provided for informational purposes only. Grey Matter Consulting does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of audit results. The audit is a lead-generation tool and does not constitute a professional technical audit or advice.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images and code — is the property of Grey Matter Consulting or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.

5. Client work ownership

Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of all custom design and code created by Grey Matter Consulting for their project. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.

6. Payment terms

Payment terms are specified in individual project agreements. Grey Matter Consulting reserves the right to pause or terminate services in the event of non-payment. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. Advertising spend (Google Ads, Meta Ads) is billed directly to the client by the respective platforms and is separate from our management fees.

7. Limitation of liability

Grey Matter Consulting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant service in the preceding 3 months.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
